Gail Gudmundsen Gail Gudmundsen, Au.D., holds a doctorate in audiology. Early in her career, she provided clinical audiology services at the two largest teaching hospitals in Chicago, then established a multi-office audiology private practice. Dr. Gudmundsen's experience includes teaching, research and organizational leadership. She has served on two state licensure boards, the board of trustees of a university and the board of directors of numerous professional organizations and foundations. She is currently active in efforts to prevent noise-induced hearing loss and in initiatives to provide high-fidelity hearing protection, personal sound amplification products and assistive hearing technology direct to consumers.
